I would like some help

Question

I would like some help

I just came across this site. Is there anyone here that has the time, and patience, to read all of this and sum it up for me? I'm sure you know that I do not do well at all with "a lot" of reading. For example, this article, I started reading it, got a little ways down, and that's it, my brain just took off (so to speak). I tried to go back and start reading again, but, poof, there it went again. (BTW, the way I read God's Word is through biblegateway.com because of the audio. It is read to me, which helps so much because I listen to the words being spoken.)

There are two things that caught my eye which led me to ask this of you;
1)Eventually, the United States will fight against the Islamist nations. The good news (unlike what the modern prophecy buffs have taught) is that the U.S. will continue to be the strongest military power and will stand against Turkey in the end.

The U.S. is “the strongest of fortresses” (Daniel 11:39) which will eventually destroy the Islamic alliance:

“Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness. They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of [them that are] slain in the midst of the seas”. (Ezekiel 28:7-8)

and;

2)Antichrist does not rule the entire globe as is commonly thought, nor is he the ruler of the most powerful nation on earth.

I have actually listened to many hours of what Wallid has to say and I believe him to be genuine. I don't agree with everything he teaches, but a large majority of it, I do. He shed light on many OT scriptures I had never seen before. For Example, in Psalm 83:11, the names mentioned there come from the story of Gideon. If you search out what Gideon did, in verse 21 he removed the ornaments from their Camel's necks, and if you search out the Hebrew word there and its meaning you find that they were crescent moons, the same symbol used by Islam.

I believe that he is being pointed out as a fraud because the truths that he exposes are hurtful to the Muslim religion and they will do anything they can to discredit him. In fact, I believe his very life is in danger from radical Muslims who would "honor kill" him for turning from the Islamic "faith".

I will try to read through the link later when I have some time and see if I can't help you out...

I appreciate that. As I stated in the other response, I only recently heard of this man. Before that, I had never even heard the name. For the sake of his soul, I sure hope he is genuine in his faith though. Because if he is, then I am sure that God can and will use him for mighty purposes. Your comment about the Muslims who wants to kill him is what I heard when I first heard about him.

I do appreciate that when you get time that you will read that. I know you don't have to, but it would be appreciated for your help.

The Muslim religion should be exposed and I see nothing wrong in this man exposing it. However, him exposing the truth about Muslims is not why he has been pointed out as a fraud. And besides, I don’t think it was a Muslim that exposed him. From what I know, an investigation was done and that is what exposed him. He has been pointed out as a fraud because of the things he has claimed that have been investigated and found to be either false, or nothing to substantiate his claims. And yet, he is still getting rich off of people that don’t know any better. It has nothing to do with him exposing the Muslim faith.

Please keep in mind that it is not me exposing him to be a fraud. I am just sharing what I have found while doing some research on this person. When others share names of people that we should listen to, I tend to be a little cautious.

From what I understand, this man is making a ton of money speaking in seminars around the United States, and has made several claims that seem false. I believe the reason he has been exposed as a fraud is because of all the money he is making for each speaking seminar. People are gullible and people will believe anything, whether it be true or false.

Again, I am not the one who has exposed this man. And again, I see nothing wrong with him or anyone exposing the Muslim faith or anything else that goes against our Christian values and beliefs. Nothing wrong at all with that!

If this man wants to speak against Muslims, all power to him. If this man wants to speak against other false religions and teachings, again all power to him. Even if he chooses to share Jesus Christ and the gospel message, I say good for him, but do it free of charge and tell the complete truth and maybe the word “fraud” won’t be brought up.

I would like to share these two videos. They seem credible to me. It seems that the those who investigated him were fair. Shoebat even invited these investigators to go with him to Jerusalem to see for themselves if his claims were true. They took him up on it and went but could find nothing that showed that he might be telling the truth. If you watch the video, even one of his relatives exposed him as being a fraud.

Maybe all these people who have exposed him are wrong and he’s right, I don’t know. But from what I’ve seen, I have no desire to listen to or hear what he has to say.

My friend,

You are setting yourself up for some major deception. If you do a little research on this person (Walid Shoebat), you will see that he is a fraud. He travels around doing seminars and he collects thousands of dollars per seminar, making claims that are false, pure and simple. He has already been exposed as a fraud and yet people still follow him. He is becoming extremely rich at the expense of gullible people, whether they be true believers or not. I am not telling you who you should and should not follow. All I am saying is be careful!

Here is something you might want to consider when you hear of anyone speaking about end time prophecy. All end time prophecy is centered around the nation of Israel. As soon as people start throwing the United States into the equasion, you know it's going to be off because according to the bible, all end time prophecy centers around the nation of Israel.

I do not know anything about this guy except that I seen a video (recognizing the name) something about he used to follow the Muslim religion but converted to Christianity. Oh, and something about that he was seen as a terrorist, and to some, still is. That is all I know of him, rather, his name. Concerning this article, I still don't know what it is about, as I stated, I can't concentrate enough on long reading to "get it". But the statements that I pasted peaked my curiosity. Times like this I usually ask someone to sum up for me. But when I "really" want to know, I keep at it, though as hard as it may be sometimes, until I "get it". But this isn't one of them times. This is why I asked "Is there anyone here that has the time, and patience, to read all of this and sum it up for me?". To me, it's no big deal if no one does.

P.S. I don't doubt that whatever he is stating here is false because prophecy tends to get my attention, that and prophecy fulfilled. I think that if I thought that what he was saying was true, I would have kept at it. I only came here because, though only a few, the members here I feel are rooted in Christ enough that if it is false teaching, none of you would fall into it.

I can see why you would have difficulty reading this one...
I spend a lot of time reading, but found this one a bit difficult.

If I were to sum it up short and sweet, I believe he is saying, based on the scriptures, I prophesied these current events would happen and now they are happening. Islam is rising, Turkey is becoming prominent and the beast will be Islamic.

I am not sure I agree with everything he says in the article, but in general I believe he is on the right track.
He mentions a couple of prophecies, one in Daniel and the other in Revelation that refer to the Lion, Bear, Leaopard, wings of Eagle, and so forth.

There has been a huge amount of speculation as to what or who each of these animals refers to, but the most plausible description I have heard is that the bear is russia, the Lion Great Brittain, the Leaopard Germany, and the Eagle The USA. I believe this because these symbols are widely known for each of these countries and fit perfectly like a hand in a glove. If you read the part about the lion and it having Eagle wings which get plucked off then stand up as a man having a man's heart, This fits perfectly with history in that the USA came from out of Brittain, our symbol is the bald eagle and we have another natonal symbol known as Uncle Sam. This prophecy comes from Daniel, Yet the prophecy in Revelation 13 mentions these but leaves out the Eagle.

Walid mentions all "Arab" nations as being these animals because they are all Islamic, but may not be seing the bigger picture in that Islam is rapidly taking over England and other countries in that region. Furthermore, Wallid does not seem to believe that the Catholic church will somehow be involved, but from what I see in Revelation, it appears that there will be some kind of marriage between Catholicism and Islam perhaps Chrislam and that the false prophet will likely be a Catholic or Jesuit pope. I don't have time to go through all of the scripture for this at this time though.

Another thing, I do believe that he is correct that the Bible is referring primarily the region of the middle east and not so much global and that the US will likely be the thorn in Islam's side that helps Israel, but I don't currently have enough of an image formed in me to say for sure.

Regarding the accusations against Wallid that he is a fraud or only in it for the money, or that he is somehow mismanaging the finances received, I would say that is between him and God. If that is likely the case, then I am not likely to give money to him, but yet his insight into the scriptures and the role of Islam in the end times seems to be more grounded in truth than most of the ministries I have heard that preach about the end times. And interestingly, my own pastor, Jim Martin, has been shown many things by the Holy Spirit that line up with a lot of the things that Wallid teaches.

I appreciate you doing this for me. If he really did prophesy what is happening, I sure would like to see a video or hear a recording when he did. I don't say this because of non belief, but I enjoy hearing a prophecy then seeing it getting fulfilled. This is why when I read in God's Word a prophecy and seeing it these days, wow. I love it.

As for Shoebat, I cannot come out and say anything whether I believe him to be legit or not. The only reason is because I only recently heard of him. Hagios showed me a two part video in which people trying to "investigate" him, and it is compelling that he is only in it for the money. But I am not going to assume that myself. I am like you, if he is wrong, or right, that is between him and God. So far, I don't have much of a desire to sincerely check him out, not at the present time anyway. But these questions that I have had may be "my" beginning about him.

When I say he prophesied it, I am not saying that he was prophesying like a prophet of old but doing like Daniel did reading the text and seeing what God said in the text and speaking out what was already written that others had not noticed in the word. And since he is just saying what he found in the word, and it is coming to pass in these days, that is why I called it prophecy.

The fact that he comes from a muslim eastern background gives him a much different mindset about the world and about the quaran and about the Bible. And in that the Bible comes from a people from that region of a similar mindset, he seems to be more in tune with what is written therein than our Western minds.

I believe that is why he seems to have such good insight to the end time passages in the Old Testament.
