Freedom From Religion Foundation
I've been hearing and reading how these people comes in and forces everyone to become a non believer. (Or at least they do their very best.) But, sadly, I rarely, if ever, hear or read anyone coming against them. Do you know, or have you heard, of anyone that does come against them? If not, do you have any ideas as to how we, as Christians, come against them and fight for our rights of having God related items in schools and public places? I feel like us, as Children of God, we are just sitting back and allowing them to do what they wish, which is to force everyone to choose hell. I want that to change, but honestly, have no idea as to how to go about it.

we all need to make a stand for God. as individuals and as a whole. I heard on the radio the other day that a Christian mom&pop bridal dress store refused to sell bridal dresses to two women marrying each other. Before the "couple" could file a lawsuit, the store filed one stating it was infringing on their freedom of religion right to sell to someone doing something against their beliefs!! Way to go!! time to turn the tables and stop the madness..i thought it about time

I believe a big part of the problem is the apathy of the body of Christ and the lack of conformance to the character of Christ.
If we as Christians would have done our part and refuse to vote for people who hold to ungodly standards, things would not have gotten so bad. Part of the problem is not being vocal, part is not performing our duty and part is a lack of spiritual maturity and growing in the holiness and righteousness that God recreated us in when we were born again. Still yet, a major problem is the lack of teaching to the body of Christ about who we have become in Christ as God's offspring and how that we are to conform to His image and be holy as He is holy.
I believe change starts with me... or with each of us deeply pressing in to God and becoming Christ-like so that the world can truly see who Jesus is by our actions like those of Antioch who were first called Christians, or 'little Christ-like ones.'
We need to be beholding Jesus as in the mirror of the word of God and be transformed (metamorphasized) iinto the image of Christ as we behold Him and His Glory as in a mirror (of the word of God)... Being no longer conformed to this natural world but being transformed by the renewing of our minds so that we can prove God's will!
When this happens and we go about anointed by the Holy Spirit in power speaking the wisdom and love of God, we will be effective ministers of the Gospel.

Amen Heavy. I get sick of seeing all this people forcing unbelief upon children. I look back when I was in school, and I wished I was a Christian at that time, I'd be going to school with a Bible and praying every day in school. If I would have been suspended, I'd respect it, then when I returned, I would have my Bible and I would pray. But, I wasn't, and I have no children. One thing is for sure, I trust that if there is something that God wants me to do that would make a difference, I trust Him that He would show me, and I would hope I would have my eyes open to see it, then obey Him.
