Answer Question
Is the impression correct?
Genesis 11:5-7
5 The Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built.
6 The Lord said, “Behold, they are one people, and they all have the same language. And this is what they began to do, and now nothing which they purpose to do will be impossible for them.
7 Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, so that they will not understand one another’s speech.”
This has almost confused me of what God was saying here, and His reasoning for doing what He did. I cannot deny that it appears that God Himself was 'afraid' of what man may have been able to do. That makes no sense to me, because the creation can never be better than the creator (in this case, Creator). I'm am not, I repeat, am not questioning what God did here, nor am I saying that I wish He wouldn't have. (Sorry, having a hard time finding the words I am trying to use to express what I really mean here.)
Let's try this approach; "If" He would have allowed the tower, and for man to do anything, what may the result have been?
