I agree with you 100%. The way I see it, we should tell the Truth (what is in His Word), then leave it be. If the person being told doesn't believe it, then they have no excuse. It is not our responsibility to literally convince someone of the Truth, it is only our responsibility to tell them the Truth. There should never be no arguing within the church.

Sorry Linda, I did not mean to be offensive. I saw an underlying question that is unanswered on that thread.
I don't think any of us were angry.
This is a Q&A forum, as long as we are on this side of eternity, Christians will disagree. We need the freedom to voice our views in order to resolve our disagreements, just as Paul did when he withstood Peter in Galatians. I was not trying to make any new rules for this website, I was agreeing with vom that we could do as suggested to try and resolve the underlying question. My term was for the question only.
Again I am sorry to cause trouble and certainly never intended to when I gave my answer by sharing with what the Lord had done for me.
I will not do as I suggested. Thanks for letting us know your stance.
