I partially read a report stating that children in Texas were told to remove pants for "poop inspection". The reason for this was because someone left some "poop" on the floor, and they were attempting to find the child who did it. Obviously, most parents were very angry. I'm curious, as a Child of God, how would you feel (if you have children) if you found out that this happened at your school, and your child was involved?

Me (don't have children, so this is "if" I did): If my child came home and told me about this, I would first ask him/her if they was the one that did that act. I would say most likely they would tell me no. I would then explain to them how disrespectful and disgusting that act was, and how important it was to find the person who did it. And obviously since no one was confessing, the only way to find out is to "go to the extreme". Yes, it was uncomfortable, but we are not God, and we do not "know eveything", so we, as humans, have to investigate. And that is what those teachers were doing. The child who did this has to be disciplined so that they would learn not to do things like this again. Then of course I would talk to my child with any concerns he or she may have about the situation.

Bottom line is, I see no wrong in their actions, and see the necessity in it. I am curious, what is your opinion on this, especially if you have children?

I don't believe they are likely to find the culprit that way...
The only way that could work would be if the child did not wipe their bottom...
But what if there was another child who didn't wipe well that didn't do it? He/she could be blamed for that which he/she did not do.

Also, if they didn't wipe themselves, they would get a rash, so they most likely would have cleaned themselves.

And in that most poop tends to look similar to the other, unless they are going to scientifically analyze it, how do they know for certain which child it came from? If they are going to go to that trouble, it seems they could find DNA in the poop and match it against DNA taken from the child from a swab of the mouth.

This kind of occurrence is also one of the many reasons why my children are home-schooled.

Finally, In that they are in authority, I would instruct my children as you would have as it tells us in the Bible to submit to those in authority, but I would also let that authority know that it is not acceptable disrobing children which should be left to the parents based on the private and sexual nature of it.

I can agree 100%. Though I can understand their reasoning, I cannot deny that there is a part of me that believes this is "over the top". I do know this, if I did have kids, these days, I'd be home schooling also. No doubt about it.

A co-worker and I was discussing this this morning, and he said the same thing you said, Heavy. But he told me what happened in his place of residence, Glen Rose, TX. Wanted to share it.

I cannot remember exactly what was painted, and with what, but what I will state, I do know. After all, that really isn't the point anyways. The city wanted to paint, I believe, a tiger's face on the football field. I think he was saying that the people either had a problem with that, or with what the type of paint they were using. Almost everyone in town was against it, but they did it anyway.

A couple of days after they finished, someone during the night went and pooped on the face of the tiger. He said it was a large pile of poop. Well, the next day, they cleaned it up. Then a couple of days later, again, someone came and pooped on the face of the tiger.

They came in the next morning and seen it. After they cleaned it up, they decided not to say anything to anyone about it, but instead install cameras, to catch the person who did it.

A few days after they installed the cameras, one morning they came in and seen poop on the tiger's face again. They went to the video and watched it to see who was doing it. That was when they saw that it was a mountain lion that was coming in and pooping, in the same spot every time.
