Blood Moons

I don't know much about this "blood moon" thing, just that I have been seeing some posts about it recently. Is there any "Truth" behind this? Is this Biblical? Prophecy? Signs?

In that we have yet to see the 7-year peace treaty being made with Israel, and the son of perdition has not yet been revealed, according to my understanding of the sequence of events, Jesus cannot come for at least another 3.5 years.

And in that Israel does not yet have their temple constructed and is not yet making daily sacrifices and it could take several years for these to be put in place, it could be several more than that.

So basically, this "blood moon" thing is an attempt to say "when" Jesus' return will be (rapture--not 2nd coming), correct?

If that is the case, it's no wonder why this doesn't "peak my interest". Jesus said that NO ONE knows the hour or day, not even Him. So, in my opinion, if Jesus Himself said that not even He knows it, then it is totally pointless for man to try to pinpoint the time. I just want to live day by day as if today is the day that He comes in the clouds like a thief in the night, as He said.
