Warnings for 2015
For the last quite a few months, I have heard people proclaiming warnings about 2015, about something "bad" is going to happen. Though I "feel" something will happen, I cannot claim myself it to be good or bad. But what I have been reading, there is a lot of bad being predicted, from financial, to attacks, or whatever.
My question is this; Has anyone ever heard many claims such as this for any other years in the past, for example, 2014, 2013, 2012, etc.
I myself cannot really remember reading or hearing such claims like I have heard and read about 2015, and I was thinking about it today while at work. "If" there has been claims such as these in years past, then the credibility of the predictions are questionable. But if there hasn't been as many predictions as it has, and is, for this year, then I'd say that this is something we should take seriously.
So, once again, does this happen often for the years past, or has it been more for the current year?

Many have been forecasting the collapse of our economy for a few years... Personally I don't really keep up with the news and forecasts of gloom and doom, and don't remember any other forecasts of bad things to come for previous years.
