In this forum, most comments should probably be posted as answers rather than comments.
You get ten points for each answer but none for comments. (See the "Help" section for a further explanation of points, which are not super important but are used as an incentive to encourage people to participate in the forum.) Things like "thank you" and "you're welcome" or anything that applies specifically to someone's answer are examples of comments.
