When presenting the gospel, we have to remember that people respond in different ways. Here are two Bible verses that I like about witnessing:
-- Jude 1:22-23: “And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.”
Albert Barnes has some good suggestions on soul-winning in his commentary on Jude 1:22. If you want to read it, click on the link (http://www.godvine.com/bible/jude/1-22), then scroll down to where it says "Barnes' Notes."
As some people may know, I've written a few different gospel tracts. The one on the home page of my website (my "Mansion" tract) is designed to make people aware of judgment and the lake of fire, since the main reason I got saved was because I didn't want to go to hell. My "Salvation" tract puts more emphasis on love. Both tell people how to be saved. If you want to read one or both of those tracts, they can be found here: http://www.mansioninheaven.com/PrintableGospelTracts.html.
