When we love someone, we normally think about them often and want to spend time with them. Do you think that's the type of relationship most Christians have with their heavenly Father?
Here are some Bible verses about our fellowship with God:
Matthew 15:7-8 [Jesus, speaking to the scribes and Pharisees]: "Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias [Isaiah] prophesy of you, saying, This people draweth nigh unto me [God] with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me."
2 Chronicles 7:14: "If my people [Christians], which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
