Basically, they are afraid they have to give up doing what they love to do, basically, the sins. But what they don't realize is that if they come to God, God would renew them, taking away those desires. Another reason could be because of the way someone has told them about God, which most do it with judgements, and not love. Then there is the fact that there are so many false teachers out there (look at how many denominations {churches} there are), and for someone who doesn't know, can and will fall for a false teaching.

I wasnt saved and refused believe in God because I didnt know about Gospel and Gods love. But when relative told me more about God and his love I started to think about God and the God touched me. So in my opinion people need to hear the Gospel and Gods love and then we need to pray for them that they will be touch by God to become saved.
