Answer Question
Concerning the losing of salvation
I also do not not believe that a person whom is truely saved will ever lose his or her salvation. But, I cannot deny that there are verses in the Bible that almost contradicts that perception. For example, Hebrews 6:4-6. Well, I mentioned verse(s), but for this reference, I'll use this verse alone.
It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, 5 who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age 6 and who have fallen away, to be brought back to repentance. To their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.
The first part of this seems to me to be referring to one whom is saved, or was saved. Therefore, I am wondering, anyone here has an enlightenment on this in reference to the topic of losing salvation?
(I know, I've used fancy words, portraying myself as more intelligent than I really am, but, hey, it looks better, eh?)
