According to statistics quoted in the above article, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and New York lead the list for having the least Bible-minded cities in America. It makes me wonder if there's any connection between that fact and the horrific weather (hurricanes, floods, snowstorms, etc.) that has been bombarding the upper East Coast recently.
The above article refers to another article, which describes the results of a study that was conducted recently by the American Bible Society. Entitled "The Most (and Least) Bible-Minded Cities in America," it lists the cities in order from 1 (best) to 100 (worst). The map at the end of the article highlights the best (most Bible-minded) cities in blue and the worst (least Bible-minded) ones in red. As you can see, the worst cities are located in New England.
